A Little More About Me…
What's My Experience?
Sixteen years ago, I started a DIY blog named Clumsy Crafter. It grew to a national-level blog with features in Better Homes and Gardens, Parents Magazine, The Today Show, and more.
Community in growth is key. Therefore, I stepped into a leadership role with Houston Bloggers, the first professional group of bloggers in the nation. Over time, the success of Houston Bloggers expanded into Texas Bloggers and then into Blog Elevated Conference and Community. I spent a decade teaching content creators and influencers the keys to digital marketing. Through Blog Elevated, I worked with some of the top marketing and communications representatives for companies such as Kroger, Procter and Gamble, Cover Girl, Zevia, and Ford. Blog Elevated was named one of the top Twitter Chats through HubSpot and reached engagement in the millions at every single event.
Following Blog Elevated, I worked as a contractor for leaders in the construction, infrastructure, medical, and academic fields.
I recently left a Lead Coordinator Position at Baylor College of Medicine’s Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Department and am looking for my next role.
